- The university failed to commence teaching or learning activities since its establishment in 2016.
- Pragyan International University has not come into operational existence.
UGC’s Action and Advisory
In view of the above findings and the repeal of the Pragyan International University Act, 2016, the UGC has:
- Removed the University’s Name: Pragyan International University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been removed from the UGC’s list of recognized universities under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
